Santal Diffuser | Mysore Sandalwood & Papyrus
Wood, Papyrus, and Leather. A Modern Classic.
Santal transcends the traditional idea of incense. It is not a mystical aroma; it is an architectural one. Its olfactory signature is defined by the fascinating tension between metallic freshness and creamy wood.
The opening is crisp thanks to Eucalyptus and Bergamot, acting as a breeze of mental clarity. However, the true character lies in its heart of dry Papyrus and Cardamom, leading to a sophisticated base of aged Leather and Mysore Sandalwood. It is a scent that smells of old paper, noble wood, and lucid calm.
This diffuser acts as an invisible anchor in space, designed specifically for places where thought requires stillness and focus.
Olfactory Architecture
- Family: Woody / Aromatic.
- Top Notes (Freshness): Eucalyptus, Bergamot.
- Heart Notes (Texture): Papyrus, Cardamom, Violet.
- Base Notes (Warmth): Mysore Sandalwood, Leather, Musk.
- Character: Intellectual, Unisex, Dry.
- Presentation: 100 ml with high-diffusion synthetic fiber reeds. Consistent aroma for 8 to 12 weeks.
- Spatial Pairing: Home offices, creative studios, minimalist spaces.
The Ritual
Insert the fiber reeds and allow natural capillarity to disperse the essential oil. Due to the complexity of the wood and leather notes, this diffuser creates a constant yet non-invasive presence. Flip the reeds weekly or whenever you wish to reactivate the top notes of eucalyptus.
For a total immersion in this atmosphere, complement with the Santal Candle during your reading or deep work sessions.
The Chronicle
What scent corresponds to each space — the home olfactory zoning guide.
The eucalyptus that opens this composition comes from India. Read its botanical chronicle.
- Before you begin: Gently shake the bottle before removing the cork to ensure an even mixture of the oils.
- Insert the reeds: Place 5 to 6 rattan reeds, depending on the desired aroma intensity.
- Flip the reeds regularly: Every two days, flip the reeds to refresh the scent diffusion. This helps keep the fragrance fresh and enveloping.
- Replace reeds when necessary: When the perfume reaches half the container and you notice that the aroma is no longer as intense, replace the saturated reeds with new ones. Discard used reeds to ensure optimal diffusion.
- Duration: This diffuser is designed for small spaces and can last between 1 to 3 months, depending on factors such as ventilation, temperature, and space size.
- Additional care: You can gently shake the bottle occasionally to revitalize the oil mixture.
Note: For the best experience, place it in an enclosed, poorly ventilated space. Avoid placing it near drafts, as this could reduce its duration.
