Understated sophistication. Botanical leather and noble woods.
Lighting the Leather Luxury Candle sets a tone of seriousness and elegance in any space. Far from heavy, old-fashioned leather scents, this composition comes alive with the warmth of the flame, revealing an unexpected botanical freshness and a "refined rustic" character.
As it burns, the vegetable wax slowly releases the vibrant note of Lime and the woody freshness of Fir Needle. However, the flame awakens the true body of the fragrance: the warmth of Cedarwood fused with the tactile authenticity of Leather and a base of Patchouli. It is a light that smells of an old library and a winter forest.
Ideal for lighting in the study while reading, in the office to close a deal, or in the living room to create an atmosphere of quiet distinction.
Olfactory Architecture
- Family: Woody / Fresh Leather.
- Top Notes: Lime, Fir Needle.
- Heart and Base Notes: Leather, Cedarwood, Patchouli.
- Intensity: Medium-High. Elegant and present.
- Presentation: 8 oz Candle (Slow Burn, 48 to 50 hours).
The Ritual of Fire
On the first light, allow the wax to melt to the edges of the container to prevent "tunneling." Before each new use, subtly trim the burnt wick. Leather Luxury is a companion candle: ideal for long reading sessions or late-night work.
For a complete immersive experience, combine with the Leather Luxury Diffuser.
The Chronicle
Why we pour in soy wax and not paraffin — the technical reason behind the 48 to 50 hours of burn time.
This leather is built on Atlas cedar. Read the botanical chronicle of Atlas Cedar.
To properly enjoy the candle you're holding, it's important to follow these recommendations:
- When lighting the candle, you should leave it until the entire surface has melted. This first step will create a homogeneous melt pool that will make it burn evenly.
- Burn it for a maximum of 3 hours. The first use of the candle should occur within the first 2 months after receiving it, to fully enjoy its fragrance.
- Preferably extinguish the candle with a snuffer, as blowing it out can release soot.
- Never burn the candle all the way down.
- Before relighting, make sure the surface is solid and clean. Trim the wick to a height of 5mm.
- Try to use the candle on a separate base or plate.
- Do not leave the candle unattended, or within reach of children, pets, and curtains. Do not place the candle in front of a draft.
- Never move a lit candle.
